Agribot - Polish robot tractor for agriculture

The company Agrirobo, (Wrocław Technological Park - WTP) together with the Wrocław University of Technology and the University of Life Sciences and the Environment in Wroclaw have developed a robotic agricultural farming system - Agribot. For this, Agrirobo has get approval by the European association EuRobotics.

Agribot - robot for autonomous work in the field

This robot is an agricultural unit with 4 independent propulsors. The structure of the robot provides high permeability along the soil and a small turning radius, which allows working in cramped conditions.

On the front and back sides there are knots for fixing various AG tools. For example, a container for plant protection products can be attached from the rear, in front - equipment that sprays the working fluid. The fixing nodes are suitable for standard agricultural equipment - there is no need to change the existing equipment.

Robot has remote control, so there is no risk of harmful effects of plant protection products on the operator's health.

This unit can work 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. To determine the coordinates of the technics, the GPS system + RTK is used, the estimate is made with an accuracy of one centimeter. Additional sensors help  the robot to know its location and navigate on the field. Many operations can be carried out offline. The main tasks performed by Agribot are spraying, pruning, fertilizing and mowing.
